In my free time you will find me in my garage working on a project, tinkering with cars, or out on a hike.
My Projects
A COLLECTION OF MY LATEST WORK
experience
Undergraduate Researcher: Lighting Enabled Systems & Applications (LESA)
September 2023 - May 2024
I led an undergraduate research team with the goal of developing an advanced Time-of-Flight (ToF) occupancy sensor for commercial/industrial applications. This sensor captures data using an 8x8 ToF sensor array and uses a BLE mesh to communicate with nearby devices. I developed a PCBA containing the ToF array, a color sensor, and a wireless microprocessor, optimizing for size and power efficiency. This new design is 85% smaller than the existing prototype (around 30x35mm).
Intern (Body Controls Team): Tesla Motors
January 2023 - August 2023
I developed hardware and software for low-voltage controllers in Tesla vehicles. I designed and tested numerous PCBAs, conducted bench testing, and created automated test scripts to improve validation efficiency. These efforts directly contributed to the improvement of controller validation and reliability, leading to significantly greater test coverage for production parts.
Robotics Intern: Humanitarian Technologies (HuT) Labs
July 2021 - August 2021
I had an robotics/research internship with Humanitarian Technolgoies (HuT) Labs, a research lab in Amrita University, India. The purpose of my work was to implement path planning algorithms for autonomous robots using Robot Operating System (ROS) and Python.
